We want your dreams!

Dreams - We want yours!Dreams - We want yours!  We want your dreams! Seriously, we do. Have your dreams been stranger than usual lately? You're not alone, anecdotal evidence is strongly suggestive of people's dreams changing dramatically over the last few months. Of course any number of factors could be feeding into this - the economic crisis in particular. With the clock ticking inexorably toward 2012 we are not suggesting anything untoward will take place - we are however suggesting that something important may take place, something which may even change the shape and nature of humanity. There are as many theories surrounding 2012 as there are prophets of doom but none of this underlies our appeal for your dreams. We want your dreams because many of our staff here believe in the idea of a 'global consciousness'. Synchronised experiments at many Universities throughout the world are studying this phenomena of 'global consciousness'. It has even been suggested by one eminent physicist that the global consciousness was 'aware' that something terrible was about to happen several hours before the tragedy of 9/11. If as many believe, we do all feed our thoughts and emotions into a greater global consciousness then there's probably no better manifestation of what's really going on in our minds and bodies than dreams. It may even be a way to see a significant message of hope from within the dreams of the global collective. But that would be to pre-judge the outcome.

For now all we want you to do is post your dream by way of a reply at the foot of this article and don't hold back on the details - but let us know if it's a change for better or worse in the nature of your dreams - are your dreams usually happier? Sadder? More dramatic? If you can interpret your dream in a particular way then please let us know what you think it means. There is no need to use any means of identifying yourself other than any name you choose and an e-mail address in the unlikely event we may need to contact you for further information. Your e-mail address will be kept absolutely confidential. As 2010 closes and heralds in 2011 we'll be following the pattern of dreams as we move toward 2012. We thank you in advance for your help and assistance with this request.  There is nothing to stop you from posting more than one dream or in posting regularly.

Alternately you can mail your dream to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Dream:

Something terrible had happened to the planet - I don't know what it was but it had caused people to band together for protection. At night a huge amount of Black Hackney Cabs (London Taxis) would swarm together to offer protection to people, but strangely we had to sleep beneath the taxis. Now it gets really weird. I was asleep beneath a taxi but was aware that Phil Collins (Yeah the singer formerly of Genesis) was on guard duty which allowed me to sleep peacefully. But I woke up in pain because something was gnawing my fingers off and Phil Collins was either dead or had fallen asleep - I couldn't tell because the pain in my fingers actually REALLY woke me up!

I don't normally have 'dark' dreams but this was certainly one and there's no reason I can think of for having it.

I live in Brisbane Australia and can't understand why my dream was filled with London Taxis.

We were outside and you could see across the city. A plane went really low and crashed on the other side of the city. The next thing that happened was that lots of smaller planes (like private planes, not big airliners) came buzzing over head from the direction of the city like they were escaping something that was happening there. I had a real feeling of something invading the earth.

I went to go home (I guess I was across the street but it wasn't really the house/street we really live in). As I approached the house, there were lights and windows open that I knew I hadn't left on. I knew something horrible was in the house. Something sinister was around the corner near the garage too and was rustling closer. Just as it rounded the corner, I woke up, my heart just about beating out of my chest!

Okay. So I was going to another school that I am normally going, with really strange people in class - i was kicked out of my normal school. I was in restaurant with my parents and I was discussing it with them, and they were just like laughing at me than screaming - i hated the new school! Mum hitted me, i was crying that i want back to my old school and parents said that i won't make it back to the school, it's unreversible. I am really proud of my long golden-brown hair - i am using great shampoos, masks and stuff, but in that dream I had really short bob - I hate this hairstyle, my dad always says me that i should wear it, but i hate short hair. in that dream i had also fringe, which was strange, because it really doesnt suit my face type, so i was kinda.. ugly and I cried, that my hair will grow for a YEARS. Then it comes to situation, that i was so obsessed, that i cried and sweat and than i woke up in the same frame of mind.

In July of this year, I had a dream that my husband, children, and I were vacationing down south in one of the coastal states (I'm not sure if it was Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, or Florida). It was night time and I was in a cafe/restaurant down the street from my hotel. The people that owned it were closing it up early so I was forced to leave. As I was leaving, I overheard them talking about getting out of town before the water came. I started walking down the narrow cobblestone street back to my hotel and I saw people leaving with suitcases. A woman who was walking past me with a suitcase stopped me in the street and told me that she couldn't leave without telling at least one tourist what was really going on, why all of the locals were leaving. She said that the government wanted residents to evacuate, but didn't want to scare off the tourists and cause a mass panic. The evacuation was mandatory for the residents and the were, by law, not allowed to tell anyone else what was going on. The woman told me to leave immediately because if we waited to leave in the morning, it would be too late. She left and as I got to the hotel to tell my husband to grab our stuff and the kids, a thin layer of cold water started filling the street. I went into the hotel and found my family and we tried leaving immediately. By the time we got outside again, the water was up to my knees and people were starting to run in the streets. By the time we got a block away, people were screaming as a big wave of water started rushing towards the middle of the city and the water ahead of it started rising very quickly, up to our hips. By this time, the water was too high and too fast and my children were swept up in the wave. My husband swam after them and got them, but then he and I got separated by the water. Eventually we caught up to one another again and started holding on tightly, as the wave finally swept everything up. When I woke, I wondered if this had something to do with the oil spill or if it had anything to do with the sea floor being cracked and the methane pressure building up (I don't know if you read about any of those theories/concerns). No matter what, I thought it was weird that I had dreamt about the government secretly evacuating people, as they obviously knew something was about to happen, even if it was shortly before it happened.

We arrived in the Denver area in August of 2007. It felt like home immediately. I felt safe, though I didn’t know from what. Anyway, immediately upon moving I started having what I call “the water dreams”. Being a vivid dreamer all of my life, I can tell you that these aren’t subject to interpretation, as I am very adept at such. Even though I am and have always been a lucid dreamer, these weren’t my normal lucid dreams. These were something else entirely. In fact, I can remember this type of dream years after the fact, just as if it were the day after having it.

They started with one particular and peculiar dream: floating through a strange, abandoned city full of water. I found myself floating on garbage, a piece of wood, coming through what was a city's downtown area. There are tall cement buildings and cars are stuck in the broken windows at the top of them. Water has receded down quite a bit, as can be seen from the water marks high above the current water level, but the cars remain up high and the water levels below remain fairly high. There is a smell of smoke and the city itself is hazy from fires that have died out recently. There is no one
else in the city and it is eerily quiet. Garbage is floating everywhere in the
water and nothing seems to have been spared. I do not feel that I survived a
disaster in that city, but rather came from somewhere else that had the same
type of disaster and just happened upon this other place.

In a second dream that I had--in the late summer to early fall of 2007-- I was
standing on a flat mountain top with about 20-30 other people. They looked
familiar to me, but only from other dreams that I've had. We were all standing
around, confused as to how we ended up on the top of the mountain. I looked
down below and saw a massive amount of water had risen to a great height on the
mountain. From where we were on the top, the water was about 100 feet below us.
As we were standing there, confused, a great metal fish rose up out of the
water, hovering just below us and rising up slowly. Though we never boarded in my dream, we all knew that it was there for our rescue from the water and the top of the mountain.

I had a different dream in the summer of 2008, but in the same context of the
first two: great waves of water. This time,I was standing on the deck of the apartment building where I currently live, about 30 feet in the air. We were having dinner on the deck and entertaining friends. I looked southwest to the mountain I can see from my balcony in real life and noticed
that the mountain had turned blue, much like glacial ice. It was dark out, but
the ice seemed to glow blue from within. It was actually quite lovely. Suddenly, the top of the mountain gave way and huge chunks of ice broke off, exploding and creating a gaping hole in the mountain. Water immediately covered all of the ground below, rushing like great rapids. The water soon swept up everything in its path as it headed towards us, and then I woke.

I had one last water dream in the fall of 2008, but it's really tied in to an
earthquake, or so I think, so I feel as if I should put it in that category instead. Throughout the period of time from when I moved from Illinois to the present, I have had many dreams that I cannot possibly explain in this letter. I will explain other ones, but before I do, I feel it important to note that I have been searching for three years for others like myself. I have found quite a few people who have had identical dreams to my own, perpetuating the theory of the global consciousness or awareness. I have even found others who have picked up and moved for no particular reason, to a place they were not familiar with or never had a previous desire to relocate to. What I find interesting about the first dream is that those who have had "the water dreams" have only seen what came before, not the aftermath. Oddly enough, the destruction doesn’t scare me. It feels clean and pure.

My daughter, who is 8, had her first water dream earlier this year, one through
"child eyes". We were living where we live now and she said the whole state of
Colorado was filled with water except for our area. She said that down the
road from our house, a big boat came by to pick up those who couldn't leave.
There were a few people, but mostly local animals boarded, including
black bears and mountain lions. This is an obvious play on Noah's Ark, except
that she doesn't know what Noah's Ark is because we are not religious people and
she has never gone to church. Perhaps she has heard it somewhere else and it
was a deeply buried subconscious memory, but it was interesting because she had the dream around the time mine ended. I never told her about the dreams, nor had I spoken about them around her, for obvious reasons.

The water dreams have started occurring again, in great number, for both my daughter and me. However, just as suddenly as they started, they have stopped, at least for now. Yet, weird dreams have continued and the seemingly-prophetic ones increased, with them happening every 3-6 months. The water dreams all but stopped, but other ones took their place. These are far more destructive visions, ones shared by others I have been in contact with. It started with an earthquake vision, or at least I think it was an earthquake.

I was cleaning my bedroom and had this pop into my head and mind's eye. It was so
strong that it actually scared me, as I usually only dream of certain things. I
wasn't even thinking about anything in particular, so it was a random occurrence.
Anyhow, I was cleaning and suddenly saw a scene by a beach. The beach was right
next to a 4 lane street and there were short buildings across the street, with
the tallest being a white one maybe 7 or 8 stories. They were office
buildings, not apartments. The edge of the street was maybe 10 feet from where
the beach started. I could feel certain sensations that paired to
what I was seeing. It was morning, maybe between 7-9 am, and the morning air
was cool. Suddenly, it was like I was standing on the beach. I could feel the
cool sand on my feet and saw a jogger running by on the sidewalk that ran
parallel to the beach. The beach was empty and there was little traffic on the street. It
seemed like early summer (June) or early fall (September).

I stood on the sand and was watching the buildings when I heard a great big boom coming from the water, followed by a horrific cracking sound like nothing I have ever heard or wish to hear again. This was followed by a series of popping and ripping sounds. This lasted maybe 2 or 3 seconds. The ground started to shake violently and the ground ripped open like a zipper. The white building toppled and windows broke in the
smaller ones around it. A guy riding a bike at the time, on the other side of
the street by the buildings, was crushed by falling debris. I heard a horrible
whooshing sound and turned to look at the ocean. Suddenly, I was floating or hovering
above the city. I saw water rushing in violently and quickly into all of the
streets, rising above the small hills in the middle of the city. Everything was
completely submerged in a matter of a few minutes. Just as quickly as it
started, it was over. I stood there, shocked by what I had just seen. In a matter of moments, everything was completely submerged in the water.

After this vision, I came to a conclusion: 2010 will be a rapid year of changes. The social fiber will begin to unravel after the first half of the year. While the first half of the year will be (and has proven to be) a time of horrendous natural disasters, the second half will continue to unfold in the same way but with greater rapidity, with the added touch of unthinkable man-made tragedies. We will begin to question things we always took for granted. The year has already begun to shape up this way. The very end of 2010, and all of 2011, will be a trying year for the spirit everywhere. 2011 will be extremely bleak and hopeless all over. I actually envision the year as black. Few will be spared from tragedy. I honestly cannot see into 2012 at all, so perhaps I won’t be around for it. All I know is that this year things start speeding up, like an out-of-control train off its tracks. Relating to this is one more dream that I had, relating to terrorism. But before that, I'll share one that seems connected to these thoughts/feeling.

I had a strange dream last summer about standing on top of a flat mountain or mesa. However, the dirt was a mustard-yellow and the rocks and sky were the same color. It was very hot and dry there, and there was a sun. I was standing on top with my husband and a small group of others, when a young guy in his 20s handed me a good disc. It was highly reflective in the light, almost like a diamond. He didn’t know what to do with it except hand it to me. I took it from him and looked at it closely, realizing that it wasn’t a compact disc, though it was the size, shape, and reflection of one. It was solid and on both sides of it was the Mayan calendar. Not the long-count stellae, but the circular one. It was brightly colored and almost seemed alive in its own right. I held it up to the sun and in the dust and woke up. I’ve dreamed that dream twice.

Lately I have been having lucid dreams where I am looking in mirrors. When I look in the mirrors, I am naked and it doesn't bother me. I have long hair, down to my hips, that is wavy and dark brown. I have dark eyes and I am much shorter than I am in real life. In real life, I am 5'8", have curly auburn hair, and green eyes. Anyway, as I am looking in the mirror I recognize that this isn't me, but there is a part of me that understands that it is. Now, I am a psych major and scholar with a plethora of psych classes under my belt. I understand that this sounds like "being okay with my true, inner self, not feeling self-conscious, etc.", except that I dream about it quite often. There is something strange about it (besides the obvious), which is that by looking into the mirror, the mirror itself is wavy, like water, and it almost seems alive, like it has consciousness. There are colors (lights, really) that come off and through my hands and arms as I hold them up, mainly magenta, turqoise, and royal blue. There seems to be a point to this and it doesn't necessarily feel like some past-life experience or consciousness.

Now to a dream I had last year. My husband, children, and I are in the mountains west from where we are now and are walking along a highway at night. The highway goes parallel to the one that goes through our town. Normally, when being in the mountains at night, you can see the lights from the towns in the valleys below and throughout the mountains and hills. however, there is no light at all. Something has happened to the power. Anyway, we are walking down the side of the highway, but I get the sense that we could probably walk down the middle of the road because there aren't any cars anywhere. We come across people sitting on the side of the road here and there; they are taking breaks. No one seems frightened about walking through at night, which is strange, considering the bears and lions that we have here. Everyone is dazed and tired, and I can hear people telling others that we have to keep going before it gets light out. There seems to be a safety about walking in the dark, like if we are seen in the daylight, it could be dangerous. It is not stated or discussed, but it seems to be because of people attacking the nomads, which is really what everyone is at that point. We are all walking in the same direction, which would be to the south. I don't know where we are going, but everyone seems to know to trek that way for some reason.

Lately, we have been dreaming about being in old warehouses. They are taller more than they are wide, with at least three levels. They are completely empty, save for the people in them. They look old in the sense that the grey cement floors and exposed metal beams have the paint peeling off of them in large chunks, almost like there has been water damage. THe large windows that line the walls have been painted over--from the outside. In my dream, I know this is either so we cannot see out or so people from the outside cannot see in. I think it is more like the former. There are large freight elevators in the building that are scary to ride in. For some reason, it is scary to go up to the higher floors. There are probably 200-300 people in the warehouse, but they are scattered through it, so it isn't crowded. As with the other dreams that have groups of people, the people are wandering around dazed, scared, and confused. I always look around for video surveillance systems, but cannot see them, which always strikes me as odd because I can feel that we're being monitored by someone or something. No one can find their way out of the building, either. It is like we're being contained there. THe most disturbing part of these dreams is the person we always stumble onto who has been murdered. I am always with a woman in her 20s and I cannot find my husband, as he has been brought to a different part of the warehouse. So anyway, this woman and I stumble onto a man who is laying in one of the rooms face-down in a pool of blood. At that point, everyone panics because there is someone in the building who has done it and I feel that part of what "they" are watching is our reaction to this. Needless to say, it is terrifying. I never, never have dreams that are this terrifying, but this is how they've been over the past couple of weeks. I do not like these dreams at all.

So, finally, this is pretty much what my dreams have been. There does to be a common theme here, which seems to be government involvement of some sort of cover-up and some sort of captivity (aside from the natural disaster dreams, of course). I would really like to know if anyone else has been having the same dreams or dreams of that type
