NASA set to make major announcement NASA made a surprise and shock announcement this week - that a News Conference will be held Thursday to discuss their findings in relation to the discovery of something which will 'impact the search for extraterrestrial life'! The news has lit up the internet though developments with Wikileaks has pushed the announcement to the rear of most publications. Some have posited that the discovery of an alien civilisation is about to be announced - others that life has been discovered on one of Saturn's Moons, some are arguing that the announcement will be no more than a statement that conditions which would support life have been found elsewhere. The conference will be held at NASA headquarters in Washington at 2pm on Thursday local time, which means early Friday morning for Australians (6am AEDT). As soon as we have more information this article will be updated.
