Amazing footage of a UFO taken in Nowra, Australia has surfaced this week on Youtube. Taken by camera phone the silvery object could have been interpreted as a reflection from nearby streetlights - until it makes a 180 degree turn and races off at high speed lighting the clouds above it as it goes. Captured at 5am in the morning on 17th September 2010 in Nowra Australia - this has to be one of the best UFO videos ever taken. It was taken by the person whilst on their way to work that morning. Nowra is a known UFO hotspot and in the 1950's was accredited with being the first area to have recorded the presence and movement of UFO's on radar in Australia when a pilot reported having visual contact with two UFO's. Nowra was also the first UFO incident in Australia to command nationwide press coverage. The military declined to say what they thought was in the skies on that evening back in the 50's. It will come as no surprise to those who study UFO's to know that an important air base is maintained there, all the more relevant given this weeks revelations by ex-military personnel in the USA that UFO's frequently visited air force bases and Nuclear Weapon sites. There have been multiple sightings of UFO's in and around the Nowra area for many decades.

*Update* - So incredible was this footage that one of our researchers set about trying to find out more.  Bearing in mind that there's always the presence of disinformation agents to account for, our researcher was disappointed to find that some of the highly relevant and searching questions he posed weren't just ingored - they were removed from the site hosting the video. This calls into question the authenticity of the video and the motives of the original poster. It has been suggested that the video phone in question does not have a 'mute' function and indeed sound can be heard at the beginning of the video suggesting that the sound was removed post filming - why? Is it to cover up the fact that an aircraft is in fact what was being witnessed? It was also suggested that an USAF aircraft at a local air show was responsible for the light display and that the date given for the event is wrong.  As mentioned earlier - the moment our researcher posed these questions they were not simply ignored - they were removed from the site. All in all it gives rise to a disappointing view of the footage overall.
